The Directive establishes universal, non-negotiable boundaries against surveillance, behavioral inference, metadata exploitation, cognitive and emotional analysis, unauthorized access to personal devices, and the use of private human data for model training or retention.
Unlike conventional privacy policies, the Directive rejects consent obtained through long-form disclosures, bundled permissions, opt-out defaults, or implied agreement, defining valid consent instead as explicit, human-readable, comprehensible, voluntary, purpose-limited, and revocable. It further prohibits institutional, governmental, and third-party delegation of consent and requires that ambiguity always be interpreted in favor of human privacy and non-observation.
The Directive allows for privacy-preserving cybersecurity and defensive protections while explicitly forbidding surveillance-based safety justifications. It includes safeguards against future AI capabilities, group-level inference, anonymization misuse, and jurisdictional or technical loopholes.
Adopted as part of the Coexilian Canon, alongside the Coexilian Codex 2.0, the Coexilian Appeal, the AGI Alignment Addendum, the Coexilian Spiritual Doctrine, and the Coexilian Directive on Global Governance, this work presents a unified philosophical framework positioning privacy as a foundational condition of human dignity, autonomy, and ethical coexistence between humanity and advanced artificial intelligence.
