18(German abstract below) What do we mean by ‚negligence‘ and why are we responsible for our negligent actions? This book reconstructs our linguistic, moral and legal usage of the concept of negligence and demonstrates that there is an overarching, intrinsically normative concept underlying our evaluative practices of ascribing negligence.
