I am an associate professor of theoretical philosophy at the University of Milan. Before coming (back) to UniMi I studied at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. At the top of the page you can see me talking about backward induction with a colleague.
I work primarily in the metaphysics of mind and on issues relating to the nature of various normative phenomena. Since some central concepts in the metaphysics of mind are, at least in some sense, themselves normative, I sometimes do both things at once.
