Antonio Lieto

Professor in Artificial Intelligence and Computational Cognitive Science at the University of Salerno (DISPC), where he leads the Cognition Interaction and Intelligent Technologies Laboratory (CIIT LAB), Italy, and research associate at the ICAR-CNR Institute (Institute of High Performance Computing) in Palermo (Italy). His main interests are at the intersection between cognitive science, artificial intelligence, and philosophy of cognitive science. In particular, his research is focused on foundational aspects of knowledge representation in artificial systems and cognitive architectures. Vice-President of the Italian Association of Cognitive Science (2017-2019) and Member of the Scientific Board of the Italian Association for Artificial Intelligence (AIxIA). Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Experimental and Theoretical Artificial Intelligence (JETAI, Taylor & Francis, UK) and Associate Editor of Cognitive Systems Research (Elsevier).
