Full Professor, Department of Humanities, at the University of Trieste, Italy.
He holds advanced degrees in both theology and philosophy, and has been awarded numerous research grants at leading universities in Italy, Vatican City and Germany. Since 1989, he has been a member of the scientific board of the Foundation Ugo Spirito, and has organized several international academic conferences.
Russo is also author or editor of 20 books and more then 180 essays.
