After studying in Austria, I did my PhD at Princeton and have been at the University of York ever since. My work falls into three main areas: moral philosophy, reasons and rationality, and epistemology. After the Pareto catastrophe of Brexit -- which makes pretty much everyone worse off -- I'm considering doing my own little bit of easing the EU immigration pressure on the UK. However, I still hope common sense will, in the end, prevail (especially in the politcal landscape of the UK but also in philosophy more generally).
