Cometan (born Brandon Reece Taylor, July 1, 1998), also known as Brandon Reece Taylorian, is a British academic and the founder of the new religion Astronism. A writer from age fifteen and an autodidact of philosophy and religion from age seventeen, Cometan is the sole author of the treatise of the Omnidoxy and other Astronist texts. Besides his work in founding Astronism, Cometan is known for his research on early Quakerism and Mormonism in Lancashire and traditionalist Catholicism given his grandparents' membership in the Society of St Pius X.
