I am an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the University of South Bohemia. My research concerns mostly applied philosophy and topics and authors in Aristotelian and scholastic traditions; occasionally, I take up other issues that I find interesting.
I am the author of Ens rationis: From Suárez to Caramuel (Fordham University Press, 2013), a co-editor with Lukáš Novák of Metaphysics: Aristotelian, Scholastic, Analytic (Ontos, 2012) and Neoaristotelian Perspectives in Metaphysics (Routledge, 2016), and co-translator with Tomáš Machula of Aquinas's Summa Theologiae Questions on Angels (Krystal OP, 2015) into Czech.
