My current research is focused on developing a novel information-theoretic metaphysics, and it's connections to issues of the mind, consciousness, and digital/virtual reality, among many related topics. I'm attempting to combine my previous research on the metaphysics of mind and consciousness to apply to a broader scope of issues related to the issues of mind and consciousness. In conjunction I work on AGI/machine consciousness, applying some of the work I've done in the philosophy of mind/consciousness to questions regarding the realization of AGI and machine consciousness.
I earned my PhD from Central European University, Department of Philosophy, under the supervision of Tim Crane and Philip Goff. I completed my MA at the University of Liverpool, supervised by Barry Dainton.
Aside from my research on the philosophy and science of consciousness, I also maintain an active interest in the philosophy of AI, metaphysics, the philosophy of science, and philosophy of mind, among other topics.
