I am an Associate Professor of Philosophy at the University of Leeds. I work on a variety of issues in moral, political, and legal philosophy: self-defence and war, justice and fairness, liberty, consequentialism and non-consequentialism, life and death matters in reproductive ethics, and bits and pieces of metaethics and practical reason. At present, I am completing a monograph on aspects of luck in moral and political philosophy.
