Heather Muraviov

Heather Muraviov is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Center for Philosophy of Religion at the University of Notre Dame. She holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Connecticut and a B.A. in Philosophy and English from California State University, Fullerton. Her dissertation titled, “Liberatory Virtue Epistemology,” argues for the necessity of providing a framework for analyses of intellectual virtues that account for the way social and political realities influence the intellectual character formation of agents engaged in liberatory projects. She is currently working on research that applies her KMT (Knowledge-Motivation-Telos) framework of liberatory intellectual virtues to an analysis of liberatory intellectual humility.
