I specialize in metaphysics, with a focus on the identity of things and persons through time, including the ontology of gender. My areas of competence include Epistemology, Social Philosophy, and Logic.

Since Fall 2020 I have been an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Allegheny College (where I have served as VAP for three years.) Before 2017, I was an Assistant Professor at the Department of Philosophy at Bogazici University in Istanbul. Before that, I was Assistant Teaching Professor at University of Missouri – Saint Louis from August 2007.
