I work in philosophy of language and related areas (semantics, pragmatics, logic, metaethics). I'm interested in indexicals, indirect discourse, evaluative predicates, aesthetic and moral adjectives, the first person, expressive language, tense and modality, attitude reports, and context-dependence more generally. My research relies on theoretical and empirical methodology.
