I am Professor of Philosophy at the University of Illinois, having taught previously at Florida State University and Mount St. Mary's University. My research has been supported by an Academic Cross-Training Fellowship from the John F. Templeton Foundation, a faculty fellowship at the Notre Dame Institute for Advanced Study, and a Fellowship for Experienced Researchers from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (ongoing, based at the University of Leipzig).
