La publicación del trabajo doctoral de Carlos Arturo López sacude desde la raíz el relato convencional de lo que ha sido la filosofía en Colombia. En un regreso “a los textos mismos” publicados entre 1892 y 1910, atendiendo a los criterios de escritura válidos en ese momento y lugar, López propone describir las condiciones históricas de un “relieve específico de la escritura filosófica” (38). Con esto aporta un concepto metodológico prometedor para futuras investigaciones. El concep-to de mínimo textual reúne los temas, problemas y modos de argumentar y de reconocerse entre escritores contempo-ráneos a una determinada época; “define las exigencias y limitaciones, creencias y procedimientos técnicos propios de la escritura filosófica en Colombia” duran-te el período estudiado (cf. 36-38), para dar una imagen fija de las ideas más o menos compartidas sobre lo que debería ser la filosofía entre los escritores locales que se identificaban a sí mismos como “filósofos”.

Siempre basado en una reflexión ontológica este filósofo abordará otros campos como la política y la estética. Sin embargo, poco se ha atendido al papel que el lenguaje desempeña con respecto al tema ontológico en esta obra. De hecho el lenguaje parece no ser una de las preocupaciones centrales de Deleuze, a pesar de que los casos en que lo considera con cierta exclusividad son muy significativos, pues terminan constituyendo lo que podría considerarse una teoría sobre el lenguaje que lo pone en una relación esencial con la ontología. In the first place, I propose to specify the debate between non-anthropocentrists and anthropocentrists as one between those who defend that the environment has intrinsic value, that is, value that while independent of all relation to human beings is still morally binding, and those who deny this, i.e., assert that the environment only has extrinsic value. I argue for the second option but claim that this should not be an obstacle to address some of the worries of environmental ethics, since extrinsic value is not limited to instrumental value. In this regard, I present sentimentalism as an alternative according to which there are ways of valuing things as ends in themselves and not only as means.

Esta investigación presenta planteamientos fenomenológicos y hermenéuticos sobre el quehacer teológico en el contexto de la Universidad Católica Luis Amigó, en miras a la renovación del trabajo del pregrado definido como una Teología en contexto. Se buscó comprender en qué consiste tal quehacer teológico porque así lo requiere la carrera en los actuales marcos de comprensión socioeclesial, además de las definiciones institucionales dentro de la Universidad. Para esta comprensión, junto a la revisión de los aportes históricos, filosóficos y teológicos en general, se hizo necesario plantear una metodología cualitativa que incluyó, a partir de la técnica del grupo focal, la experiencia de estudiantes y maestros que entienden, fraguan y asimilan este conocimiento teológico-contextual al interior de las aulas de clase. Así se da cuenta del mundo de la vida y de la interpretación del acto de vida, donde se hacen las construcciones teológicas. Finalmente, se comparte el análisis y discusión de los resultados con el propósito de aportar horizontes desde y para la institución, con el fin de facilitar una Teología al servicio de las comunidades y de la sociedad colombiana.

RESUMEN La concepción de la persona se ha trasladado a una discusión sobre la teoría republicana de la autodeterminación política. Hito fundamental es lo "político", introducido por J. Rawls para definir una región artificial, no metafísica, de la organización de la vida humana en sociedad. Es un concepto normativo para definir ciudadanía que incluye una concepción moral del hombre. Se sostiene que, en la articulación de este concepto y sus nociones asociadas de autonomía plena y razonabilidad de los agentes, el constructivismo político recoge la concepción del hombre como sujeto de sentidos, tema central del comunitarismo. ABSTRACT The conception of person has shifted to the discussion on the republican theory of political self-determination. A fundamental milestone was the concept of the "political", introduced by J. Rawls to define an artificial, non-metaphysical region of organization of human life in society. It is a normative concept to define citizenship, which includes a moral conception of human beings- The article claims that, in the articulation of this concept and its associated notions of full autonomy and rationality of agents, political constructivism takes up the conception of human being as a subject of meanings, which is central to communitarianism.

No doubt, ontology is the central concern of Gilles Deleuze's thought. His approach to other fields of enquiry such as politics or aesthetics is always based on an ontological reflection. However, the role that language plays regarding this ontology has been poorly considered. In fact, language does not seem to be a central subject for Deleuze, even though the cases in which he examines it with certain exclusivity are very significant, as they constitute what can be considered a theory of language that places it in an essential relation with ontology. In this paper I will try to reconstruct this theoretical body on language and ontology, drawing, on the first place, on Logic of Sense, and then on the perfected formulation of “Postulates of Linguistics” and Foucault

It has been proposed, between the thomists, two determinations of the object of the metaphysics of Aquinas. One emphasizes in the dominant theological character of the christian doctor and affirms that the object of the metaphysic is God, the other one tries to make the modern reader to see the autonomy of his philosophy, and shows that to Thomas the real object of metaphysics is the being qua being. But there where we see opposition Thomas finds an intimate relationship between theology and philosophy to accomplish the necessary unity of truth. In the present writing I am seeking this unification by comparing two texts: the first one is the Comment to the Metaphysics of Aristotle, were the being qua being is privileged as the object of the metaphysics. The second one is the beginning of the Summa contra gentiles were Aquinas affirms that the proper thing of wisdom is to meditate the divine truth. In both texts this author determines the object of metaphysics by the analysis of the conditions of wisdom. The conciliation of both texts will ask to locate the position that the metaphysics occupies in the theological thought of Aquinas, and opens a road to conceive it as a science of the first principles and suggests its possibility.

El debate reciente iniciado por Hubert Dreyfus y John McDowell ha llamado la atención sobre la relación entre racionalidad y acción no reflexiva. En este artículo propongo una forma de especificar el desacuerdo entre quienes llamaré intelectualistas y antiintelectualistas. A la luz de esta propuesta arguyo que el principal argumento antiintelectualista sólo tiene éxito si se acepta al menos uno de tres presupuestos implícitos que están lejos de ser autoevidentes y cuya verdad es puesta en duda por fenómenos familiares. Termino con consideraciones que sugieren que el intelectualista ha quedado en una mejor posición argumentativa.

A main argument of Descartes' philosophy that we are able to find on Meditations on first Philosophy and Principles of Philosophy is the doubt argument. On the inquiry of first truths, the path of doubt allows us to leave aside the doubtful and makes us perceive the principles with grater evidence, because they resist all doubt. But in his Warnings to the Descartes' general principles, Leibniz criticized this Cartesian point of depart, and then, one of the grounds of Descartes' philosophy. This essay shall be the place of discussion of both philosophers' reasons, not being this a promise for a clear and distinct conclusion.

The current text implies an attempting to fulfil a question I was not able to answer correctly after reading Kant's Foundations of the metaphysics of moral, i. e. is it possible a life which actions -in a moral way, have only been done by duty, that is, independent to every single appetite it, indeed, inclines to? The current essay inquiries on why such a life would be impossible, considering J. S. Mill's claim. The latter is just one step further answering the question, which, indeed, is willing to be discussed.
