I'm a philosopher of language and mind working at the University of St. Andrews. I'm interested in things like the nature of intentionality, the metaphysics of conscious mental states, the foundations of semantics, the nature of semantic categories, higher-order logic, and also a cluster of issues concerning non-cooperative and strategic speech, particularly in politics and public discourse.
