Karenleigh A. Overmann earned her doctorate in archaeology from the University of Oxford as a Clarendon scholar in 2016 and completed a 2-year Marie Curie research fellowship at the University of Bergen, Norway in 2020. She currently directs the Center for Cognitive Archaeology at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs.
