Katrina Sifferd holds a Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of London, King’s College, and is Professor of Philosophy at Elmhurst University, where she holds the Staudt Endowed Chair. After leaving King’s, Katrina held a post-doctoral position as Rockefeller Fellow in Law and Public Policy and Visiting Professor at Dartmouth College.
Before becoming a philosopher, Katrina earned a JD and worked as a senior research analyst on criminal justice projects for the National Institute of Justice. Katrina is the author of numerous articles and book chapters on criminal responsibility, reduction, folk psychology and the law, and punishment.
