My research focuses on how we perceive the world to be organized, how our perception of the world is itself organized, and how the structure of perception relates to the perception of structure. I look at the findings and underlying commitments of research in perceptual psychology and I draw on conceptual tools developed in philosophy of language in order to better understand the nature of our capacities to grasp the world perceptually.
