Kieran Aarons

North Central College

I work at the intersection of continental philosophy and social-political thought. My interests lie in the philosophy of time, the phenomenology of perception and gesture, and the philosophy of language. My recent publications apply these themes to questions of ecology, racism and anti-semitism, the fate of democracy, and the forging of new political communities through social movements. I completed my PhD at DePaul University in 2018, and am currently a half-time assistant professor in philosophy at North Central College in Naperville, IL.
