My work explores questions at the intersection of philosophical ethics and cognitive science. I'm especially interested in better understanding the relationship between morality and the emotions, with a particular focus on disgust and anger. I’m also interested in the philosophy of psychiatry and mental disorder and, more recently, the relationship between trauma, wrongdoing, and moral responsibility.
