In particular, I am currently focusing on the European perception of Islam and the Ottoman Empire, manuscript and book circulation across the Mediterranean, Arabic and Latin cosmographies, early-modern geography, and political and imperialist thought from a transregional perspective. I am also interested in Neoplatonism, Jewish thought, and Jewish-Christian intellectual relationships in Italy.
Currently, I am Marie Skłodowska Curie Fellow at the Department of Philosophy and Cultural Heritage at the Università Ca’ Foscari Venezia and at the Department of History at the Indiana University Bloomington.
