About me

I'm an Instructor in the Philosophy Department at Auburn University. Prior to joining the department at Auburn, I received my Ph.D. from UNC Chapel Hill

My primary interests are in metaphysics and philosophy of science. I am especially interested in methodological questions that concern and connect both areas. I spend most of my time thinking about metaphysical explanation, the relationship between grounding and causation, and about how symmetry considerations in science can inform our ontological commitments in metaphysics.
