My research interests are in ancient philosophy, logic and philosophy of language. My work in ancient philosophy focuses on the Hellenistic period and Neoplatonism. Currently I am working on vagueness and the sorites paradox in Hellenistic philosophy. I also am interested in the transmission of Greek texts into medieval Armenia and on medieval Armenian theology. I have completed a book manuscript on the 10th century Armenian poet-theologian St. Gregory of Narek, now a doctor of the Church. I have a side interest in political and legal philosophy.
