Paul Russell is currently Professor of Philosophy at Lund University (part-time), where he also serves as Director of the Lund|Gothenburg Responsibility Project (LGRP): https://www.lgrp.lu.se/
He retired from the University of British Columbia in 2022 after teaching there for more than 35 years. He also taught at a number of other distinguished British and American philosophy departments, including Cambridge, Virginia, Stanford, Pittsburgh, and UNC Chapel Hill.

The funding involved is for 80 Krona [$7.5 million US], among the largest humanities grants awarded in Europe. The grant runs from 2015-2025.
