I am an associate professor at the Department of Philosophy, Faculty of Arts, Palacký University in Olomouc, Czech Republic. I teach courses on philosophy of language, ancient Greek philosophy, and ethics. My main areas of interest are philosophy of language (realism vs antirealism debate, theories of meaning, conceptual engineering), ancient Greek philosophy (theories of language, philosophical methods, and Aristotle). Currently working on three projects: (i) (Re)Construction of Aristotle's Theory of Language, (ii) Conceptual Engineering and the Nature of Concepts, (iii) How (Not) to Think about Anthropological Difference.
