Rafe McGregor is the author of fifteen books, including Recovering Police Legitimacy: A Radical Framework (2024), The Adventures of Roderick Langham (2017), and The Value of Literature (2016), and the editor of The Conan Doyle Weirdbook (2012). A critical theorist, he is reader in criminology at Edge Hill University in the UK, where he researches culture, political violence, and policing.
