I am a philosopher and information scientist. In philosophy, I focus on the philosophy of perception, technology, and phenomenology. In information science, I focus on virtual reality, entertainment and serious video games, interactive simulations, and human-computer interaction.

I received my PhD in philosophy from the University of Miami in 2014, and my PhD in information science from the University of Arizona in 2026. Between 2014 and 2022, I was an assistant then associate professor of philosophy at the Lebanese American University. As of September 2026, I am an assistant professor of philosophy at Oregon State University.
