I work on the philosophy of institutions, with a focus on how complex organizations maintain coherence while distributing decision-making across many actors and layers.
My research looks at how institutional purpose is translated into operational decisions through governance structures, interpretive frameworks, and decision architectures. I am particularly interested in why institutions drift from their declared purposes and how this process can be studied and improved.
