I am a practical philosopher and legal scholar. I research on climate and intergenerational justice. I am currently working on the idea of climatic unjust enrichment and duties of restitution. My last main project focused on how changes in circumstances might supersede historical injustices. Specifically, I discussed climate change and past injustices against indigenous people in Latin America. I also work on the idea of legitimate expectations and how their frustration may provide grounds for compensation in the transformation to a low-carbon society. Before that, my research focused on the non-identity problem and the concept of harm.
