My work focuses on Aesthetics (classification of art; ontology and metaphysics of art and aesthetic properties; borderlines of art and aesthetics) and Applied Ethics (data ethics, cognitive enhancement).
I am committed to promoting equality and diversity in the academia. I developed and currently manage an online resource devoted to this aim: the Diversity Reading List (https://diversityreadinglist.org). I am also engaged in promoting aesthetics scholarship by co-running the Scottish Aesthetics Forum.
