I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Connecticut.
During the academic year of 2023-24, I am taking one-year leave to complete my role as an Interdisciplinary Ethics Postdoctoral Fellow at Stanford University, with a joint affiliation at the McCoy Family Center for Ethics in Society (EiS) and the Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence (HAI).
I earned my Ph.D. in philosophy at Rutgers University, New Brunswick, where I also received a Graduate Certificate in women's and gender studies.
My research primarily focuses on ethical issues that arise from the interactions between social structures and individuals. I specialize in ethics (including AI and tech ethics), social and political philosophy, and feminist philosophy. I also have research interests in developing Taiwanese philosophy, an area that is still in its embryonic stage.
