I am the Jacobsen Postdoctoral Fellow at University College London and the Institute of Philosophy. My research is in the philosophy of language. I am interested in questions relating to the semantics and metaphysics of plural expressions, especially the generalisations known as generics, such as ‘Apples are healthy’. My current research project examines epistemic questions about the justification for our beliefs in these generalisations.
