For my undergraduate studies I attended Northern Arizona University where I completed a BS in Microbiology and a BA in Philosophy in 2019. After completing my undergraduate studies I began my Philosophy PhD studies at Arizona State University (ASU). In the spring of 2023 I completed my Masters at ASU and am currently working on my dissertation.
My research interests are in moral psychology, applied ethics, normative ethics, social philosophy, philosophy of science, experimental/empirical philosophy, philosophy of psychology, and feminist philosophy.
My dissertation focuses on emotional fittingness and the effects of the normative practice of fittingness evaluations on persons. I am particularly interested in the logic underlying fittingness and critical questions surrounding whether our fittingness practices are leading to desirable social outcomes. I aim to deploy empirical and philosophical research in my work.
