I'm a social philosopher of language and technology researching how conversations help construct our social identities and how new technologies reframe what we can, and where we should, do things with words.
Currently, I am a Civil Discourse Fellow at Harvard's Edmond & Lily Safra Center for Ethics, developing a project on the nature and norms of "speaking in bad faith."
