He graduated from Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine in 2007. He completed his psychiatry speciality training in the Psychiatry Department of Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 2012. He worked as a clinician at Ankara Keçiören Training and Research Hospital on the grounds of state-obligatory service between 2013-2015. He accomplished her PhD from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine, Department of History of Medicine and Ethics, in 2021. He worked as a research assistant at Ankara University School of Medicine from 2015 to 2023. Since 2023, he has been working as an assistant professor. His main research interests are in psychiatric ethics and neuroethics, philosophy of medicine, philosophy of mind and psychiatry, medical sociology, history of science/medicine, history of psychiatry, and qualitative research.
