Adam M. Willows

I am a theologian and philosopher specialising in ethics, philosophical theology and science-engaged theology. After completing my PhD at Durham University I worked at the University of Notre Dame, the University of Leeds and the University of Winchester before joining the University of Bristol as Lecturer in Christianity and Ethics in 2024. My work focuses on the nature of moral character, agency and virtue ethics. My goal is to improve our understanding of ourselves as moral creatures – who we are, what we do and why.
