My name is Adam Patterson. I'm currently an Adjunct Lecturer in Philosophy at Lone Star College. I earned my Ph.D. in Philosophy at Syracuse University. Before that, was a full-time Lecturer in Philosophy at UNC-Greensboro from 2023-2024 and a Part Time Instructor at Syracuse from 2022-2024.
My main area is value theory, and my dissertation is on group well-being. I also maintain active interests in the philosophy of language (especially bad language) and the philosophy of death (especially the badness of death and the fear of death), and meta-ethics.
