Adriano da Silva Carvalho is a Brazilian professor, researcher, and author. He taught philosophy and sociology at the secondary school level (Rede Cnec), and taught Greek, Hebrew, and research methodology at numerous seminaries and theological institutes in the state of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. His research focuses on linguistic-literary theories of textual meaning based on Michel Pêcheux, Roland Barthes, E. D. Hirsch, Algirdas J. Greimas, Friedrich D. E.
