Ahmad Karimi

Dr. Ahmad Karimi is Associate Professor of Philosophy and Theology. His current research interests lie at the intersection of Comparative Philosophy, and Islamic interdisciplinary studies engaging with the Philosophy of Language, Moral Philosophy, Philosophy of Religion, and Religious Epistemology. He also works extensively in the areas of Political Theology, Social Theology, and Practical Theology, with a particular emphasis on existential and comparative approaches, as well as interfaith dialogue. Within the field of Traditional Theology, Dr. Karimi specializes in the comparative study of core doctrines such as Fiṭrah (innate human nature), Imamate, and Mahdism. He has supervised over 60 doctoral dissertations and master's theses in both Persian and Arabic, and his scholarly contributions continue to shape contemporary discourse in Islamic thought and philosophical theology.
