A graduate in Philosophical Sciences, he is currently a PhD student in Philosophy of Language and Gender Studies at the University of Bari Aldo Moro. The research project concerns the analysis of masculinity and linguistic performativity in the context of gender studies, with a double purpose: on the one hand, the philosophical and social analysis, starting from a pragmatist perspective and deepening the theme of the constitution of people and power relations. On the other hand, the aim is to develop appropriate communication strategies to combat discrimination and produce inclusive environments, particularly in corporate realities, by translating theoretical research into practical possibilities.
He is collaborating with Confcooperative companies, in particular ‘Leader’ based in Bari with regard to obtaining gender certification: pdr 125.
He has participated in several important conferences, where he was able to discuss his research in front of an international audience, such as: the 4th International Congress of Gender and Sexuality Studies (ICGSS) in Berlin and the World Congress of Philosophy in Rome.
In addition to this, he is a martial arts practitioner, which he has taught and still practices, seeing in the discipline not only a physical training but a possibility of social claim and struggle; combining philosophical studies with martial practice. This view led him to speak at the conference ‘Communicating in and about sports’ in Paris, for the Olimpic Games, bringing a paper connecting performativity as a philosophical theory to martial arts.
He is on contract with two different publishing houses, with which he publishes some of his research works and leads a philosophical narrative project (Cronache di un Mesotes) that aims to bring ethical issues closer through a different narrative.
He has also published several scientific articles in English and Italian.
He is a member of the cultural group Bibliophiles which aims to promote reading and culture, working in collaboration with different branches in four important cities: Florence, Paris, Chicago and London.
He previously worked as a teacher of philosophy and sociology in a private school in Milan.
