Indigenous populations advocate for collaborative research principles that they help define. Ethical engagement with these communities improves health outcomes while creating beneficial partnerships between researchers and Indigenous peoples. This article outlines key principles for ethical health research with Indigenous Peoples and Ethnic Groups in Colombia, emphasizing bilateral communication, respect for cultural values and traditional knowledge, responsible biodiversity use, community participation, and autonomy. These principles provide a framework for conducting respectful, beneficial, culturally relevant, and ethical research. Based on experience and consultation, the article offers good practices to guide researchers and train health professionals, promoting equitable research relationships with Indigenous communities.

The aim of this paper is to show that every form of knowledge, even scientific knowledge, is linked with the personal existence that effectuates it. We offer a map of the different schools of Interdisciplinarity attending to an anthropological criterion. To this end, a map of the various schools of interdisciplinarity is offered according to an anthropological criterion, where the persistence of a partial and reductive approach to human knowledge in various modalities is generally detected. The consequence of this way of understanding knowledge is firstly the fragmentation of reality, but also of social life and above all of human existence itself. Thus, the need for a theory of interdiscipline is discovered, that not only transcends the epistemological approach, but also that of action and its ontological dimension. We propose that this expansion is achieved through a radical interdiscipline anchored in personal existence.

En la modernidad se desarrolla una antropología del equilibrio que exagera el afán humano de libertad y provoca una crisis antropológica materializada en el principio del resultado. Con ánimo de superar ese reduccionismo, el presente artículo retoma la narrativa del don —primero social, luego moral— para enriquecerla con una propuesta trascendental. El objetivo es mostrar que, aunque el hombre es un ser necesitante, lo más radical —en cuanto ser trascendentalmente abierto y respaldado donalmente— es su capacidad donal. Este respaldo antropológico puede conducir a una renovación de la economía, capaz de abrir nuevas alternativas.

This articles suggests that the root of the current crisis in modern scientific innovation is mainly due to the method that science applies towards the real world. The scientific method reduces its possibilities by not considering the comprehensiveness of the human person, i.e. science is impersonal. Philosophers of science in the 20th century have identified this anthropological reductionism and further detected the limits of the scientific method. The lack of alternative solutions leads science into a cul-de-sac. The notion of crisis, recently pointed out by Leonardo Polo’s Transcendental Anthropology, allows us to detect the limit, to abandon that limit and to open knowledge to further dimensions of unrestricted novelty such as freedom or love. Here we highlight the following distinctions: firstly, the state of crisis and the critical conscience, secondly, the ‘desperate vs. puzzle-solver’ critical conscience, thirdly, the limit of science and its abandonment.

RESUMENEste artículo aborda una comprensión de la crisis de la post-modernidad a partir de la mitología griega y la filosofía de la historia. Se propone la reposición del miedo interior como un fenómeno colectivo de la sociedad contemporánea que caracteriza nuestra situación cultural y que tuvo su aparición en el origen de la modernidad especialmente a partir del pensamiento de Hobbes, Lutero y Maquiavelo.
