PhD Candidate in Philosophy at Universidad Iberoamericana (Mexico City). My research focuses on Political Theology and the History of Ideas, specifically conducting a philosophical archaeology of the concepts of dominium and potestas within the School of Salamanca.

My doctoral dissertation analyzes the continuity and rupture of these concepts in the works of Francisco de Vitoria, Bartolomé de las Casas, and Fray Alonso de la Vera Cruz, examining their influence on the formation of the Mexican Viceregal State. I contrast these 16th-century foundations with modern theories of sovereignty, particularly the political theology of Carl Schmitt.
