La filosofía kantiana registró de un modo genuino un decisivo giro epocal que cuajó en la Modernidad madura: el paso del tradicional teocentrismo al antropocentrismo. Con ello se redefinió el lugar y el papel del ser humano ¾que aquí alcanza el estatuto de sujeto (fundamento)¾ y, con ello, se redefinió el significado de la razón. Ya en el siglo XXI, nosotros, en tanto herederos de los logros kantianos, tenemos que bregar con nuevos problemas que nos empujan a volver a pensar lo que Kant pensó merodeando los profundos enigmas que dejó pendiente su magistral indagación y que aún nos espolean y nos guían en las tareas de la filosofía.

Resumen: El estudio revisa dos poemarios de Aristóteles España: Dawson (1985) y Los pájaros de post-guerra (1994). El primero fue escrito entre los años 1973 y 1974 en la isla Dawson, utilizada como campo de reclusión y tortura durante la reciente dictadura chilena, y el segundo bajo una libertad aparente en contexto de transición a la democracia. Desde esta perspectiva, se compara la construcción del sujeto poético en ambos discursos líricos, que posibilitan situar al sujeto “poeta” y su enunciación frente a dos experiencias diferentes que conforman parte de la historia chilena reciente. En Dawson, el sujeto subalterno describe la represión sufrida en un intento por superar la incomunicación y el dolor, mientras que en Los pájaros de post-guerra el sujeto sobreviviente expone su propia fragmentación. Abstract: The study reviews two poetry collections by Aristóteles España: Dawson (1985) and Los pájaros de post-guerra (1994). The former written between 1973 and 1974, on Dawson Island, utilized as a detention and torture camp during the recent chilean dictatorship, and the second under an apparent freedom in the context of transition to democracy. From this perspective, the construction of poetic subject in both lyrical discourses is compared, which allows to situate the “poet” subject and his enunciation in front of two different experiences that are part of recent Chilean history. In Dawson, the subaltern subject describes the repression and torture suffered to overcome the isolation and pain, while in Los pájaros de post-guerra, the surviving subject living in exile exposes his own fragmentation.

Dean Zimmerman’s work in metaphysics has had a profound impact on discussions of analytic theology and the philosophy of religion over the last three decades. Few contemporary philosophers have done as much to bring analytic rigour into conversation with traditional theological concerns, or to frame metaphysical inquiry in ways that illuminate doctrines long central in the Christian intellectual tradition.

Cet article propose une analyse critique de l’anthropologie informationnelle développée par Marc Bellion, qui applique la théorie de l’information à la question de l’identité personnelle et de la résurrection. En s’appuyant sur une approche émergentiste, Bellion propose que l’être humain soit composé d’un esprit et d’un corps informationnel. Après la mort, la continuité de la personne serait assurée par la mémoire de Dieu, où l’esprit et les informations essentielles subsisteraient. L’article salue l’originalité de cette proposition, mais souligne des ambiguïtés théologiques et philosophiques, notamment le rôle central attribué à Dieu dans la préservation de l’identité.

Cet article examine l’hylémorphisme thomiste en tant qu’alternative au dualisme et au matérialisme, tout en mettant en lumière une tension ontologique majeure : l’âme y occupe un statut ambigu, étant présentée comme une « propriété-chose ». Cette ambiguïté, qualifiable d’ « erreur catégorielle », engage l'âme dans une oscillation problématique entre attribut et substance. L’article montre comment cette difficulté conditionne le débat métaphysique contemporain. Après avoir analysé les tentatives de conciliation, l’auteur soutient que seule la position corruptioniste préserve la cohérence du système thomiste, et relève une fois de plus l’erreur catégorielle à laquelle Thomas se heurte.

How is poverty discursively constituted, both as a category of thinking and as a label applied to particular social categories in times of austerity? How is it linked to social exclusion? Based on extensive fieldwork with representatives from 79 typical non-governmental organizations and informal initiatives of civil society in two Greek cities (Athens and Patras, in the periphery), this chapter explores the link between crisis, poverty and social exclusion. In their attempt to underline the marginalizing effects of austerity in Greece, civil society actors question previous assumptions about what constitutes poverty and exclusion in Greek society and offer important insights into the seemingly disparate practices and experiences among those classified as “poor” or “new excluded”.

Les dernières décennies ont vu apparaître une nouvelle approche de l’histoire de la philosophie liée à la tradition analytique. L’auteur propose de montrer dans cette étude le lien entre la naissance de l’approche analytique de l’histoire de la philosophie et le travail réalisé par trois figures de l’histoire de la philosophie médiévale au XXème siècle : Kretzmann, Pinborg et Kenny. Malgré les nombreux travaux portant sur l’approche analytique, on continue à négliger le rôle joué par ces trois auteurs pour la constitution de ladite approche.

Le titre de cette étude suggère de traiter trois termes, à premier vue, sans aucun lien. En effet, quel peut être le lien entre l’homosexualité et la Bible? Ou celui entre l’homosexualité et les sciences cognitives? Et finalement, quel lien peut-il y avoir entre ces trois termes à première vue juxtaposés? Il y a une réponse à chacune de ces trois questions et nous proposons d’explorer ces réponses dans le cadre de cette étude. Notre thèse consiste à défendre que les sciences et plus précisément les sciences cognitives peuvent contribuer à la discussion sur l’homosexualité dans un cadre théologique (et/ou ecclésial).

In this paper, I propose to analyse two objections raised by Turner Jr in his paper “On Two Reasons Christian Theologians Should Reject The Intermediate State” in order to show that the intermediate state is an incoherent theory. As we shall see, the two untoward consequences that he mentions do not imply a metaphysical or logical contradiction. Consequently, I shall defend an Intermediate State and I shall propose briefly one metaphysical conception of the human being able to reply to Turner Jr’s objections.

Comment un homme pourrait-il changer qualitativement (voire perdre tous ses composants) et demeurer numériquement identique après la résurrection ? L’ADN étant l’identité de l’homme, serait-ce la solution ? Nous essayons d’y apporter une réponse à partir de l’essentialisme sérieux d’E. J. Lowe et l’hylémorphisme de Thomas d’Aquin. On propose d’établir la résurrection corporelle et le principe d’Inwagen comme deux étapes fondamentales pour la réflexion d’une ontologie de la résurrection. Cela nous conduit à penser une ontologie de l’âme, la thèse la plus plausible pour une continuité numérique après la mort.

Dans cette étude nous nous proposons d’étudier la présence du Christ dans l’Eucharistie dans une perspective métaphysique et ontologique. Dans les deux premières sections nous définirons et montrerons qu’il faut distinguer: le problème de l’Eucharistie et la question fondamentale de l’Eucharistie. Nous défendrons la thèse selon laquelle le problème de l’Eucharistie en est vraiment un seulement pour ceux qui acceptent l’ontologie de l’aristotélisme, plus précisément celle de la transsubstantiation. Or, nous montrerons que l’ontologie de la transsubstantiation suppose des problèmes théoriques insurmontables et nous suggérerons que nous devons nous intéresser plutôt à la question fondamentale de l’Eucharistie. Afin de montrer qu’il est possible de donner une réponse à la question fondamentale de l’Eucharistie, nous esquisserons une solution à partir d’une ontologie des tropes.

This article aims to explore, through the civil society’s opinion, the polarisation between ‘winners’ and ‘losers’ and the group of the ‘new excluded’, or ‘new poor’, that has emerged as a result of the European economic crisis and the social transformations that followed in the Greek society. Based on the Theory of Justice introduced by John Rawls (1971), and using the approach of Critical Discourse Analysis, this study focuses on the discourse analysis of the perception of 97 representatives of local and national NGOs, both formal and informal. The main results focus on different self and others’ presentations, especially during the economic crisis, and on the creation of an unbalanced, fragmented and exclusion-cantered society. However, the definition of rich and poor appears ambiguous through the analysis of various linguistic strategies of Greek NGOs revealing a hidden face of the society

Qu’est-ce que la théologie analytique ? Que veut la théologie analytique et que pouvons-nous attendre d’elle ? Ces questions semblent constituer le défi d’aujourd’hui pour la théologie analytique. Nous répondrons à ces questions, en proposant de la distinguer des autres disciplines avec lesquelles elle semble se confondre. Cette recherche nous conduira d’abord à proposer une nouvelle définition de la théologie analytique fondée sur trois critères et par la suite à distinguer deux manières de faire la théologie analytique: (i) une théologie analytique de bas en haut et (ii) une théologie analytique de haut en bas. Selon notre thèse, seule une théologie analytique confessante de haut en bas peut être considérée comme une théologie analytique à part entière.
