I have a broad range of research interests, with a primary focus on free will. I advocate a libertarian theory of free will and moral responsibility, building on Robert Kane's framework. I call my approach narrative self-formation. In addition to free will, I explore the problem of evil within the philosophy of religion and examine the desirability of immortality in the metaphysics of death. I am currently the editor of Libertarianism about Free Will on PhilPapers.
