Alex is a philosopher and socio-cultural researcher, theorizing socio-cultural change, especially in the area of sex and gender. Alex completed a PhD titled Genders as Genres at the Amsterdam School for Cultural Analysis. Since then, Alex has worked at the Universeit van Amsterdam, Harvard University, and RU Nijmegen. Their postdoc research is on concepts of sex-gender between the social and life-sciences.
