• This thesis seeks to put forth that, within the framework of epistemic injustice, individuals with privilege are capable of imposing self-directed epistemic disadvantages. Their inherited stances and lack of adequate reflection repeatedly hinder their knowledge practices as agents, interpreters, and educators.
