Alexandra Stamson is a PhD candidate in Philosophy at the University of Connecticut as well as an adjunct professor of Philosophy at SUNY Purchase. She holds an M.A. in Philosophy from UConn, an M.A. in WGS from the Graduate Center CUNY, as well as a B.A. in Philosophy and in Media and Communication. She is also the founder and chair of the Pop Culture Constituency Group at the National Women’s Studies Association, and has worked on the Feminist Anthropology and WSQ journals. Alex focuses on social epistemology, ethics, feminist and queer theory, and digital public humanities.
