My research explores Plato and the Platonic tradition on moral formation, virtue, and the ideal of godlikeness—integrating philosophical, religious, and mystical dimensions of ascent toward ethical and intellectual excellence. I apply these insights to moral psychology, philosophy of education, spiritual anthropology, and philosophy of religion, including dialogue with Christian thought. Concurrently, I work in philosophical hermeneutics (Ricoeur, Gadamer, Rorty) on interpretation, selfhood, and language. My overarching aim is to bring classical philosophy into productive tension with contemporary hermeneutic and existential concerns.
