Ali Ahmad is a scholar of economic and intellectual history whose work explores the institutional and epistemological foundations of twentieth-century economic thought and political economy. He is the author of A History of Economic Thought at the Frankfurt Institute: Beyond the Critical Theory of the Frankfurt School, 1923–1945 (London and New York: Routledge, 2025), the first comprehensive study to recover the economic theories developed by lesser-known members of the Frankfurt Institute.
